Election Day: The People have Spoken

The excitement has passed. The people have spoken. The votes are in.

Election Day.


The Student Council Members for 2011-2012 at the Word of Life Bible Institute are as follows:


The Right Honourable, his Majesty, President Marcel Van Der Linde

His Lordship, Vice-President Andrew Fehr

The Secretary (of Defence if necessary): Kyle McDonald

The Honourable, Treasurer Brandon Swartzentruber


These individuals formed a political powerhouse and swept away the competition.  It was a landslide victory for Mr. Van Der Linde. Minutes before the voting took place several of the candidates dropped out of the race creating a tense atmosphere. The ballots were counted and the winners were announced. The Members of the Student Council are already settling into their respective positions. The class now looks to these four gentlemen to be the leaders the Student Body needs for the coming weeks and months.

With this being the first all-male student council of WOLBI, this year will definitely be very interesting.
